The Caravan Park is within easy walking distance of Antrim Town and Antrim Forum Leisure Complex. The Park's central location, coupled with its close proximity to Larne and Belfast Harbours, make it an ideal base for touring not only the Borough of Antrim but all of Northern Ireland.

On-site facilities include:

  • Hard Stands - 37 electric hook-up pitches & 30 tent sites
  • Modern Toilet & Shower Block
  • Fully Equipped Laundry Room
  • TV Lounge
  • Games Room
  • Cafe
  • Telephone
  • Visitor Information Services

The Lough Shore Park has become well established for boating and a modern slipway provides easy access to the Lough.

During the summer months, a range of events including Summer Band Concerts make the Lough Shore Park a magnet for those seeking relaxation by the water's edge. The attractive surroundings make it the ideal spot to while away a few hours enjoying a picnic, feeding the swans or walking along the many pathways.

I was told site was full when I telephoned.  My sister went to office and got me a site by phoning me from it!  When she wanted to stay an extra day she had to move over one site and I saw others doing the same even though there were four others empty.  When she went to pay for the extra night she could only pay by cash because she should have paid at time of booking!!!  Lovely site but booking system will put even those from NI off going to it!

Cannot really blame the council for making people pay in full when it is too easy not to turn up leaving a pitch unpaid for and empty. The old adage "you get what you pay for" applies. In this case it is a fabulously well run caravan park with polite helpfull staff and great facilities. Pay the fee and stop complaining!

Advance booking is fine but should only take a deposit not the full amount. This is not best practice if you wish to encourage tourism, which hopefully is one of your aims!

Online bookings are fine but take a non refundable deposit but not full payment. this would encourage people to book

This is a comment for ABC. This is a great caravan site we enjoy it very much. Why are you messing it up with all these new rules Online booking (To be paid in full) how can people lay out so much money if they want to book a number of dates in advance. What about people from outside NI. they will never get booked so much for tourism. Please do not spoil a great site think again!!!
