Spectacular flower displays and many exotic species can be seen at the informal Rowallane Gardens. An enchanting garden enclosed within a demesne landscape.

Set in 50 acres, Rowallane Gardens date back to the mid 19th century. Laid out by the Reverend John Moore the gardens were further developed by his nephew, Hugh Armytage Moore, a great plantsman in the early 1900s who established and developed connections with seedsmen and botanic gardens throughout the world.

Famous for its large collection of  rhododendrons there is much else to see including wildflower meadows, snowdrops, an interesting rock garden and a walled garden with many rare plants.
