This delightful 17th Century Plantation house is one of the National Trust's most evocative properties. Springhill has a beguiling spirit that captures the heart of every visitor.
The walled gardens and expanse of parkland are especially beautiful in summer's full bloom.
Described as 'one of the prettiest houses in Ulster', its welcoming charm reveals a family home with portraits, furniture and decorative arts that bring to life the many generations of Lenox-Conynghams who lived here from 1680.
Little has changed in the home and the house is steeped in stories masterfully recounted by costumed guides. Its stone and lime walls are home to Ireland's best-documented ghost, said to be that of Olivia, second wife of former owner George Lenox-Conyngham.
