Escape to Crom - one of Northern Ireland's best kept secrets!

Located on the shores of Upper Lough Erne, beside the Shannon-Erne Waterway, Crom is one of Ireland's most important nature reserves with many rare species, including red squirrels and the elusive pine marten. The ancient yews in the Old Castle Garden, are named among the '50 greatest British trees'.
The 2,000 acre demesne contains ancient woodland, tranquil islands, estate cottages and Old Crom Castle, all linked by the breathtakingly beautiful landscape designed by W.S.Gilpin in the 19th Century.
There are nature trails, a programme of guided walks, boats for hire, a jetty for overnight boats, coarse angling, comfortable holiday cottages, campsite and a wildlife exhibition. Function rooms and a marquee site are available for private hire.
National Trust holiday cottages are located in the restored Old Farmyard courtyard and a few paces from the edge of the lough.
Nearby attractions include the famous Belleek Pottery works, the spectacular Marble Arch Caves and the Ulster American Folk Park to name a few as well as the Trust's properties at Florence Court and Castle Coole.
