Slievemoyle Cottages are renovated farm cottages on the slopes of Slievemoyle near Strangford.
There are four cottages in all - Rose, Mill, Blackthorn and Stable. Each one varies in size, sleeping 4 to 8 people. All cottages are fully equipped with modern appliances. They have been awarded the prestigious 4 Star award by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board.
The area is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Strangford Lough is also designated as an area of special scientific interest.
Downpatrick is the capital of County Down and famous as the burial place for St Patrick. With the Cathedral, the Old Gaol of Downpatrick, now Down County Museum and the St Patrick's Centre, Downpatrick is popular with tourists from all over the world.
Strangford Village with its picturesque harbour, pubs and restaurants, is famous for the car ferry crossing Strangford Lough to Portaferry on the Ards Peninsula.
