Brooks Cottage is named so after the family who occupied the farmstead for over 200 years. It is is one of the largest in the Barnwell Farm Cottages complex, sleeping 6 people comfortably in 3 bedrooms.

Brooks Cottage comprises a spacious lounge with traditional fireplace and wood burning stove, flagged floor and pine furniture. The kitchen/dining area, crafted in reclaimed pine and maple, is fully equipped to make self-catering a pleasure, opening out on to a paved area overlooking the garden with the drumlins of County Down as a backdrop.

Barnwell Farm Cottages are situated off a quiet country road, in the heart of the Ards Peninsula, 1 mile from Strangford Lough and 2 miles from the Irish Sea coast. The location is protected from the noise and bustle of everyday life. It is tranquil and relaxing, surrounded by farmland and unspoilt countryside.
